Breaking Free Project
Many of you have expressed concern over this project. I am looking for pictures that show your interpretation of the work--not pictures of the actual authors or characters. In this picture, Ashley Judd stands up for what she believes in. You could use this in relation to one of the works that deals with standing up for your beliefs.

The purpose Ashley Judd's shirt is to change the face of feminism. Many times, women who fight for women's rights get labeled as "femi-nazis" or lesbians. Its unfortunate that standing up for oneself often leads to ridicule from others. Judd is very vocal in the women's rights battle that still continues. Did you know that women still make less than men in the corporate world? Is that fair to you? And of course, a woman in charge is often labeled as a b-----, while a man in charge is just the boss. Its these stereotypes that women like Judd are interested in changing.
