New book for me!

I went to Wal-mart yesterday, which is always a big mistake. I found John Grisham's new book, The Broker. I started it last night and almost was not able to put it down. This one seems to have a hint of Clancy intrigue--espionage, murder, etc. So far so good. I'm interested to know why the main character is a hunted man, though. I haven't quite gotten to that part, but apparently he knows something so the CIA is setting him up to be killed.

While I am not in your class I found this site by mistake and I think its absolutely genius. Good for you. Have you read the book "Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers" ? Its by Mary Roach and its fascinating. I have several witty quotes from her dogeared for future essays I have yet to write.
As for a past question about the death penalty; isn't it strange how this man, allegedly attempting suicide in California, has capital punishment possibly awaiting him when he goes to trial for the 11 deaths caused by his Jeep on the tracks?

While I am snooping, here is one of my favorite quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr:
"We are here in a general sense because first and foremost we are American citizens, and we are determined to apply our citizenship to the fullness of its means. We are here because of our love for democracy, because of our deep-seated belief that democracy transformed from thin paper to thick action is the greatest, form of government on earth."
